Mediation Confidentiality
Confidentiality is an important issue in mediation because it insures the participants can more freely express themselves and discuss the issues they feel they need to discuss in a manner which gets to the heart of their concerns. For this reason, participants sign a confidentiality agreement prior to discussing more emotionally loaded and challenging issues.
